TENSES
Tenses are verb forms that indicate the time of an action or event. There are three main tenses: past, present, and future. Each of these tenses can be further divided into four aspects: simple, continuous (also known as progressive), perfect, and perfect continuous. This results in a total of twelve distinct tenses in English.
